Building ordered on 27 June 1901, laid down by Fore River Shipbuilding, Quincy, Massachusetts, USA with yard number 110 for John G. Gowley in November 1901. launched on 10 July 1902, completed in August 1902, converted into an oil bulk carrier in1906 and sunk off the Scilly Islands on 14 December 1907.
