British destroyer HMS Whitley arrived at Rosyth, Scotland according to the weekly appreciation of matters of naval interest No. 61 for the week ended 14 February 1920

An item reported the departure on 12 February from Nore by the British destroyer HMS Whitley arriving on 13 February at Rosyth, Scotland.(1)

Note

1. W-class, preceded by S and Parker classes succeeded by Thorynycroft type destroyer leader, Ambuscade and Amazone, building ordered on 9 December 1916, laid down as Whitby by William Doxford&Sons, Sunderland in June 1917, renamed Whitley, launched on 13 April 1918, completed on 11 October 1918, commissioned on 14 October 1918 and beached on 19 May 1940 on the Belgian coast and destroyed with gunfire by HMS Keith.
