Madrid, 21 July. According to the rumours captured the privateers of the South American Independents all ready more as forty ships coming from America or Spanish harbours. If the cargo is valuable enough were the prizes sent to American harbours to be sold, if not were the ships burned and the crews set on land. The news item does not say what exactly happened with the crews of the prizes which were sent towards America, presumably they stayed on board?
