Den Helder, 27 April. This afternoon arrived the Dutch transport Zr. Ms. Prins Willem Frederik Hendrik captain lieutenant Van der Harst coming from Curacao.Four days later was in the same newspaper an advertisement published that Wednesday 10 May 11.00 o’clock at the navy yard at Amsterdam around 140.000 Dutch pounds rough salt from Curacao divides in portions of 5.000 pound was to be sold on a public auction. The salt was loaded on board of the transport which was lying in the Oosterdok ahead of the Kalvermarkt.(1)
