The British navy in the Mediterranean according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 11 December 1824

London, 7 December. According to the newspaper The Hampshire Telegraph consisted the British squadron in the Mediterranean of the Revenge with on board admiral sir Henry Neal at Naples, the Sybille, Weazle and Alacrity of the Ionian islands, the Euryalus, Cyrene, Martin and Hind in the Archipelago with the Martin and Euryalus ordered to return to England. The Meduin brought lord Strangford from Constantinople to Trieste. This ship was expected to arrive around Christmas in England.
