The British scout cruiser HMS Amphion (1911) before she was lost 13 October 1914


The photo was published in the Dutch magazine De Prins dated 29 August 1914 page 103before she was sunk caused by a mine with 152 survivors and 131 victims.


This so-called scout cruiser was launched at Pembroke Dock 4 December 1911 with a displacement of 3,440 tons and dimensions 300 x 46 and sunk in the North Sea 13 October 1914. The armament consisted of 10-6" guns.
