British sea planes squadron at Basra according to the Dutch newspaper Het Vaderland: staat- en letterkundig nieuwsblad evening edition dated 10 December 1928

From London was a tiding received that a squadron of gigantic completely metal built sea planes fitted out with three engines were completed. They were destined for the new British floating plane base at Basra and would depart for this destination in 1929. They were to be used for patrolling in the Persian Gulf and able to take a yawl with them which could carry five persons and to be used for communication with the shore.
