In 1928 passed British warships for the first time since 1914 the channel of Kiel, Germany. The photo was published in the Dutch magazine Gelderland in woord en beeld dated 20 July 1928 and shows the HMS Cambrian (1) and Curacao (2) at the left and the Canterbury (3) and Comus (4) at the right.

1. A light cruiser launched at Pembroke Dock 3 March 1916 and sold 28 July 1934 to Metal Industries at Rosyth. Measured 3.750 tons with dimensions 446'(over all) x 41 1/2', and was armed with 4-6" guns, 1-4" gun and 2-3" guns.
2. A light cruiser launched at Pembroke Dock 5 May 1917 and sunk due to a collision with the Queen Mary north of Ireland 2 October 1942. Measured 4.190 tons and with dimensions 450'(over all) x 43'9" and was armed with 5-6" guns and 2-3" guns.
3. A light cruiser launched at J. Brown 21 December 1915 and sold to Metal Industries at Rosyth 27 July 1934. Measured 3.750 tons and dimensions 446' (over all) x 41 1/2"and was armed with 4-6" guns, 1-4" gun and 2-3" guns.
4. A light cruiser launched at Swan Hunter 16 December 1914 and sold to Ward, Barrow 28 July 1934. Measured 3.750 tons and dimensions 446'5" (over all) x 41 1/2"and was armed with 2-6" guns and 8-4" guns.
