Building of the Dutch merchant frigate ship Rotterdam at Maassluis, Netherlands according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 26 May 1841

Last Saturday [22 May] was at the yard Hollands Trouw at Maassluis the frigate ship Rotterdam of 650 lasten launched. She was build by E. van der Hoog for account of A. van der Hoboken en Zonen at Rotterdam and her master was to become Pieter Vis.
