Hamburg, Germany, 1 July. Letters of Port-au-Prince dated 8 May reported that two days earlier the Danish corvette Najaden commanded by Uldal returned towards St. Thomas with the result that the trade between Haiti and St. Thomas for another six months was allowed. This was also accomplished for Curacao but still not allowed with other West Indian islands.
