The French and Sardinian navies in the Mediterranean according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 14 April 1823

Bayonne, 1 April. According to tidings were two French frigates lying in the mouth of the Guadalquivir and that the French who left Brest was sighted all ready off Cadiz, Spain underway to join the Sardinian fleet near Gibraltar.
