French blockade squadron off Barcelona underway to Cadiz according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 15 September 1823

Perpignan, 1 September. The French squadron, which cruised off Barcelona, departed for Cadiz leaving just some gabares behind.

Puerto Santa Maria, 1 September. In contrary to an earlier news item was Hamelin still alive. He left 31 August with the le Bretonne Cadiz towards Brest.
