Around 730 ships with a total BRT of more as 1,000,ooo tons were since 1919 added to the fleet with as total costs 50,000,000 pound sterling. At the end of last 1928 was for Norwegian account all ready building or ordered to be build a total capacity of 283,000 tons of which sadly enough just 8% on Norwegian shipyards. Dealing with the tankers was 600,000 tons flying the Norwegian flag with another 100,000 tons being build at foreign shipyards mostly in England.
