Similar main armament for French cruisers Edgard Quinet and Waldeck-Rouseau according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwe Tilburgsche Courant dated 24 January 1906

The newspaper Petite Républicque reported that the minister of navy Thomson (1) intended to fit out the cruisers  l'Edgard Quinet and Waldeck-Rouseau with a similar main armament consisting of 14-19,4cm guns which increased their range.
