Troop transports for Don Carlos towards the Spanish East coast according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 24 July 1837

According to the French newspaper Moniteur of Paris dated 21 July were according to Spanish tidings departed two merchant ships 7 July Porte Venera at the Gulf of Spezzia towards the Spanish East coast with on board war stores and around 60 Italian, German and French officers who want to join the army of Don Carlos. A Sardinian warship escorted both ships according to rumours.
