Tangier, 10 September. The government of the United States seemed to deliver some warships to the emperor of Morocco. One captain was appointed as commanding officer of the brig sold by Sardinia while it was unknown who was to command the American ships which were to arrive within short time. It was also known if the American ships were a gift or that they were to be bought.
