The newspaper Rotterdamsche Courant dated 3 august reported that yesterday at the shipyard Naarstigheid the frigate ship Banca of 800 tons was launched. She was built by De Jong, Korteland and Anthony for account of C. and A. Vlierboom. Immediately after the launching was for the same account the keel laid down of a similar large frigate ship to be named Kenau Hasselaar.
