Launched on 16 August 1977 at the yard of Alsthom, Chantiers de l‘Atlantique at St. Nazaire, France with building no. D26 for account of the Cie. Nationale de Nav. Was in October 1977 taken into service. Became in 1983 the Ulsan Master of Hyundai Company. Broken up in October 1983 by the Hyundai SB& Engineering Company. With a DWT of 555,051 tons, gross tonnage of 274,838 tons and a net tonnage of 224,831 tons were her dimensions 401,10-414,23 (over all) x 63,05 x 28,60 metres and a depth of 35,92 metres. The 4 single reduced steam turbines of Sta-Laval supplied 65,000 hp allowing a speed 16-16,7 knots. She was fitted out with 40 tanks resulting in a total volume of 677,300 cub metres.
