The newspaper l’Etoile published letters coming from Buenos Aires and Brazil reporting that the navy of Paraguay partly was stationed in the Paruna to prevent all ships passing. The admiral of the Brazilian squadron which blockaded Buenos Aires communicated with the commodore of Paraguay. The letters were published in the Brazilian newspapers.
