The Neapolitan navy according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 29 June 1780

Genoa. 7 June. The court decided that to preserve her neutrality it was not allowed that British privateers brought their prizes into Neapolitan harbours. Her own navy with 11 ships at sea was sufficient to protect her merchant shipping.
