The Spanish expedition towards Puerto Rico and Havana according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 12 August 1825

Paris, 8 August. According to the latest tidings from Coruna were all efforts done to fit out at Ferrol the expedition towards Puerto Rico and Havana. From Cadiz were transports awaited to transport 3.000 men and to be escorted by the frigates la Lealtad and la Perla and the brig el Yaso.
