Dredger for Tunisian government according to the Dutch newspaper Het nieuws van den dag: kleine courant dated Wednesday 4 February 1903

On Saturday morning was at the yard of A.F. Smulders at Slikkerveer with success the steel hull of a seaworthy hopper and bucket dredger launched on behalf of the Tunisian government to be used in the port work over there. Her main dimensions were 40 (between perpendiculars) x 8 x 3,65 (hold) metres. The capacity of her cargo hold was 150M3. She was build under supervision of Veritas Special Survey (1) 3/3 II R with the highest specifications. The engines were made in the plant of the yard at Utrecht and the boiler by her plant at Grace-Berleur. The dredger was to be completely lightened.(1)
