In his book described John Fuller his journey in the Ottoman Empire . He started in the beginning of 1818, however, his book was published in 1830. One of the things he mentioned was the naval shipbuilding at Boudroun. (1)
P. 509: “5th [September]. We went on shore early in the morning. The town is small and miserable, although the Turks have a dock-yard there, in which a large two-decked ship now was building.”
