The Austrian and Neapolitan navies in the Mediterranean according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 5 May 1821

Venice, 17 April. Tidings from several places confirmed that the Austrian flotilla which cruised in the Levant was in good condition despite the rumors that it was recently dispersed with the loss of vessels and a large number of crewmembers. With sunrise departed 3 April the Imperial squadron commanded by general major marquis de Paolucci from Lissa to cruise in the waters of Apulia. She arrived in the waters of San Angelo 9 March. It was also confirmed that the Neapolitan squadron which captured 11 February a brig with orders coming from Ancona the same vessel had released on 29 March and that she stayed off Naples. Finally she arrived 5 March at Lisbon.
