The destroyed Tunisian navy according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 6 June 1821

Paris, 1 June. Travellers who visited Tunis when that town was harassed by a severe storm destroying the navy of the Dey said that 1,500 men were killed including all officers except for the admiral who was that day on land.
