Algerian privateers and their opponents according to the Dutch newspaper Opregte Groninger Courant dated 1 December 1761

A tiding dated Livorno 10 November reported that the storms prevented the departure of 2 galleys and 2 other vessels of Malta to depart from there. Their commanding officer Bally van Bahr wished he could depart after having received tidings that 4 Algerian privateers were cruising off Capo Corfu.
