According to an item dated Copenhagen, Denmark 17 February employed the navy all shipwrights who register themselves and were advertisements placed in the newspapers. According to the rumours were in the coming summer at least one ship of the line and 6 frigates to be launched. The navy consisted at that moment of 3 ships of the line, 6 frigates, 5 brigs and 80 gunboats excluded some other ships and vessels with a total armament of 580 guns.
