British representatives Cecil and Bridgeman sent back to Geneva disarmament conference according to the Dutch newspaper Tilburgsche Courant dated 23 July 1927

An item dated London 23 July reported that the British cabinet approved on 22 July with general votes the attitude of Lord Cecil (1) and Bridgeman (2) in the naval conference at Geneva. Both were to return immediately to Geneva. Of the Conservative Party.

1. At hat moment chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster 10 November 1924-19 October 1927. Edgar Algernon Robert Gascoyne-Cecil, 1st Viscount Cecil of Chelwood (14 September 1864-24 November 1958) was also on of the big men behind the League of Nations.
2. William Bridgeman, 1st Viscount Bridggeman (31 December 1864 London-14 August 1935 Leigh Manor, Shropshire), Home Secretary 25 October 1922-22 January 1924 after which he became First Lord of the Admiralty November 1924-June 1929.
