Russian naval forces on the Amur according to the Dutch newspaper De Sumatrapost dated 2 July 1937

An item dated Tokyo 1 July referred to the correspondent of the Asahi Shimbum at Tsitsihar who reported that around 50 Russian warships included 10-1,000 tons vessels each with 4-12c, guns, 10-200 tons gunboats and 30 patrol boats were stationed on the Amur. Later was reported from Hsinking that another 5 Russian gunboats appeared and now were cruising off the island Kanchatzu part of Manchukuo.
