Russian naval shipbuilding according to the Dutch newspaper Groninger Courant dated 4 July 1777

According to an item dated St. Petersburg 7 June was the state of the Russian navy continuous improved. Excluded the warships being built at Kronstadt, Revel [Tallinn, Estonia] and Archangelsk were to be within short time 5 large warships to be launched at St. Petersburg and some galleys. Of the latter were on 8 June 3 to be launched and immediately sent to Kronstadt to be fitted out and than to join the evolution fleet which would consist of 11 ships of the line, 3 frigates, 2 yachts, 3 galleys and a bomb galliot, totally 20 ships. Another Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 5 July confirmed this news item.
