Dutch paddle steamship Zr.Ms. Madura transported disassembled to Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 31 July 1856

An item reported that the Dutch transport Zr.Ms. Merwede (1) was to depart within short time towards the Ditch East Indies to transport the disassembled iron build steamship Madura which was to be re-assembled at Java.(2)

1. On stocks at Dordrecht, Netherlands 28 July 1835, launched 1838, lastmentioned 1859, dimensions 33,70m x 9,14m x 3,80m, 8 guns.
2. Paddle steamship 4th class, laid down and launched at Rotterdam in 1855, disassembled, transported and re-assembled at Soerabaja, Dutch East Indies. With a displacement of 425 tons and as dimensions 51,36 x 9,45-14,83 (over sidewheels) x 1,85 metres. Stricken in 1875.
