Portuguese gunboat Beira damaged by an explosion according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad evening edition dated 19 November 1917

An item dated Lisbon 16 November reported that on board of the Portuguese gunboat Beira lying alongside of the navy arsenal by an explosion one sailors was killed and another 14 wounded. Another newspaper the Nieuwe Tilburgsche Courant dated 19 November 1917 confirmed this item.
