Prussian naval strength according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 20 March 1856

An item reported that according to an official report the Prussian navy consisted of 2 frigates of 48 and 38 guns, a-12 gun steam corvette, a 12-gun sailing corvette, 303 gun schooners, 1-9 gun guard ship, a 6-gun transport, 36-2 gun gunboats and 6-1 gun gunboats and a 28-gun steam corvette being build.
