Chilean warships Almirante Condell and Imperial surrendered to the Congress Junta according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 5 September 1891

An item referred to the American newspaper New York Herald which reported that the Chilean cruiser Almirante Condell and the transport Imperial surrendered to the Congress Junta.(1)

Note
1. There was a civil war going on in Chile between 16 January and 18 September that year between the president José Manuel Balmaceda supported by the army and the Congress Junta supported by the navy ending in a victory for the Congress Junta.
