Call signs of Dutch warships with a name starting with an “A” in 1867

The Dutch departments of Home Affairs and Navy published a list of the Dutch war- and merchant ships including the so-called Gouvernementsmarine which was active in the Dutch East Indies. The list I used was published by H. Nijgh at Rotterdam and was kept update until 1 October 1867.

GQBF=Aart van Nes, screw steamship 4th class
GQBJ=Achilles, defence vessel
GQBL=Adolf Hertog van Nassau, screw steam frigate
GQBN=Admiraal van Kingsbergen, iron paddle steam ship 4th class
GQBT=Admiraal van Wassenaer, screw steam frigate
GQBW=Amstel, sail corvette 1st class
GQCD=Amsterdam, paddle steamship 1st class
GQCH=Anna Paulowna, screw steam frigate
GQCK=Ardjoeno, paddle steamship 1st class
