Former German passenger ships chartered by American shipping companies according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 1 June 1920

An item dated Washington 30 May reported that the maritime Commission announced that thirteen former German passenger ships with a total tonnage of more as 90,000 tons were chartered by the United States mail Steamship company and the France and Canadian Steamship Corporation for transatlantic shipping as an example of unconditional collateral.
