First USA midget submarine completed according to the Dutch newspaper De Heerenveensche koerier dated 15 October 1955

An item reported that the first midget submarine of the US navy was completed and ready for her trials. She was designed and build by an airplane factory with a weight of 25 tons, a length of 15 metres and with a crew which numbered 5 men.
