Sea tidings from Batavia, Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Bataviasche koloniale courant dated 14 June 1811

The 6th anchored a British ship coming from the North on the outer roads.
The 7th arrived a officer with a cartel launch of this ship who returned the same day.
The 8th anchored this ship at the North side of the island Rotterdam.
In the morning of the 10th was it lying anchored at the West side of the island Edam.
The 11th departed it to the East returning while in the evening a schooner was sighted coming from the East and which was probably a prize.
The 13th departed the British ship from Edam towards the East.
