British naval shipbuilding program according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwsblad van het Noorden dated 11 February 1935

An item referred to the British newspaper Morning Post which reported that the naval budget for 1935 included the building of at least 4 or 5 cruisers, a flotilla leader, 8 destroyers, 3 submarines and some smaller vessels.
