Build at the shipyard of Kawasaki, Japan in 1933. Sister ship Hailung. With a displacement of 184 tons and as dimensions 143 x 20 x 5 feet. The armament consisted of 2-3: guns and 2 machineguns. The two sets diesels allowed a speed of 14 knots. Both ships were strengthened to be used in with ice covered seas.
