Dutch bark ship Australie bound for the Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Bredasche Courant dated 12 August 1869

An announcement reported that the Dutch campagne bark ship Australie of 800 tons captain J.G. Lucas would depart in September towards Java. She was lying at Amsterdam with on board a doctor and a milk cow. For more details could be asked at owners Blaauw&Co. and shipbrokers Wed. Jan van Wessel&Zoon of Amsterdam.(1)
