An announcement reported that on 6 April at 12.00 o’clock shipbrokers intended to sell on a public auction in the location corner Scheepmakershaven-Bierstraat wijk 1 no. 499 in Rotterdam the fast coppered and copper fastened bark ship Jan van Schaffelaar last captain A. van Duyn and which was now lying alongside the shipyard of F.H. von Lindern in Alblasserdam. She measured 664 tons or 351 lasten with as dimensions 37,45 x 7,39 x 3,40 (hold) metres.

Hartog and captain H. van Hees.
