Finnish officer invented submarine salvage device according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwsblad van Friesland dated 29 March 1933

An item reported that the Finnish navy officer Kari invented a new sensational device for salvaging sunk submarines. The building costs were just 200.000 Dutch guilders. With a lift capacity of 800 tons was the device able to lift any existing submarine at that moment while the heaviest weighed no more as 500 tons.
