Italian bark ship Erminca C for sale according to the Dutch newspaper De Locomotief dated 5 December 1891
An announcement reported that on Saturday 19 December at 09.00 o’clock in the office of the auction master in Padang the Italian bark ship Erminca C captain Vincenzo Rocca was to be sold. The auction was a result of the debt of 2.624 pound sterling to be paid to the The Chartered Bank of India, Australia and China. Her owner was Giagomo de Guiseppe Chiappe, Rapallo, Italy. The ship measured 542,14 register tons and was now lying in Padang. The bids on the auction started with ƒ 1.000. In April 1891 was in Lisbon the metal skin replaced and repaired.
