Japan said to be open for naval discussions according to the Dutch newspaper De Banier dated 28 August 1935

An item reported that the spokesman of the Japanese department of foreign affairs stated in a press conference that Japan wished for naval discussions on short notice and which she would attend with the intention a reduction of the navies.
