Japanese nationals arrested for spying on US navy base at San Diego according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 13 December 1934

An item dated Tokyo 13 December reported that American authorities the Japanese ambassador at Washington a day earlier informed that Japanese nationals were arrested at San Diego (the main US naval base). Three of them were accused for making photos and sketches of military works. The latest tidings reported that in the USA 29 Japanese nationals were arrested accused of spying.
