South Slavic merchant ships ordered to mark their hulls with national signs according to the Dutch newspaper Het Vaderland dated 10 February 1941
An item reported that all South Slavic shipping companies were ordered to mark the hulls of their ships with the nationality signs. This measure was taken after the halting a week ago of the South Slavic steamship Kossovo by a British submarine not far from Split despite the international law. She was investigated by a prize crew and since then was nothing heard of her.
