Dutch frigate Cornelis Wernard Eduard bound towards Batavia, Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwe Rotterdamsche Courant dated 9 August 1867

An announcement reported that the Dutch frigate ship Cornelis Wernard Eduard, captain K.J. Swart was to depart Rotterdam 30 September towards Batavia. On board were excellent accommodations for passengers, a skilled doctor and a cow for milk. For more details could be asked at shipbrokers Ruys&Kellar and owners Wm. Ruys&Zonen at Rotterdam.(1)
