An announcement reported that the Dutch frigate ship Cornelis Wernard Eduard, captain K.J. Swart was to depart Rotterdam 30 September towards Batavia. On board were excellent accommodations for passengers, a skilled doctor and a cow for milk. For more details could be asked at shipbrokers Ruys&Kellar and owners Wm. Ruys&Zonen at Rotterdam.(1)
