British bark ship Claude lost according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwe Rotterdamsche Courant dated 24 November 1858

A sea tiding dated New York 10 November reported that the British bark ship Claude captain Chessell underway from Quebec towards Sunderland sunk on 25 October in a heavy storm. Except for six men was her crew of 14 men killed.
