Dutch bark ship Plancius launched in Amsterdam according to the Dutch newspaper Nederlandsche Staatscourant 21 May 1840

An news item dated The Hague 19 May reported that yesterday afternoon at 14.00 o’clock at the shipyard de Walvisch at Amsterdam by shipbuilder Jan Nuveen the bark ship Plancius (1) was launched for Jacob Hartsen captain S.J. Rotgans for the Dutch East Indies trade.
